What is Coaching?
The ICF (International Coaching Federation) defines coaching as partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.
The process of coaching often unlocks previously untapped sources of imagination, productivity and leadership.
We all have goals we want to reach, challenges we’re striving to overcome and times when we feel stuck.
Partnering with a coach can change your life, setting you on a path to greater personal and professional fulfilment.

Here’s what a client had to say…
When I came to work with Rachel I wanted to understand why I was unable to show up for myself. I wanted to understand the real reason for my inaction with regards to my physical well-being.
I felt that if I could get to the bottom of the problem, I could start to move forward and solve the problem rather than letting it constantly weigh on my shoulders.
Before working with Rachel, I couldn’t look at the problem clearly. I was getting far too emotional about it all. I was filled with shame and embarrassment and I was inconsistent which was making me get really angry with myself. It was a shame spiral that I couldn’t get control over.
I was hesitant that this type of coaching would work for me. I like to find solutions in books, or be told the answer, and not talk about them.
Working with Rachel was really straight-forward and pain-free. She had prepped me before-hand so I knew what to expect. She was a great listener and asked clear, non-judgemental questions and before I knew it I had some great clarity on what the real problems were and how to move forward with ease and confidence. I left the session feeling light, like a weight had been lifted.
I have had the chance to implement a few strategies we came up with together and so far the weight has not returned!
For anyone who is on the fence I would highly recommend this type of coaching with Rachel. It was not what I was expecting at all and the impact the session has had on my well-being is invaluable.

Frequently Asked Questions
I've researched coaching, why are your prices lower?
My prices are lower as I am building my client base.
However I have completed my ICF approved training, mentoring and coaching log hour requirements and submission. Now I am just waiting for the board to review it so I can receive my ACC credential. I have also completed ADHD & Positive Psychology training, Advanced Adult ADHD Coaching. I am currently doing my last module - Positive Psychology and Advanced ADHD Coaching – College Students, Teens, Children & Parents
So it is a bonus for you at the moment to receive coaching at this discounted rate.
Are you a credentialed ADHD Coach?
Being a credentialed ADHD coach with the PAAC (Professional Association of ADHD Coaches) is a lengthy process. I am currently training with Dr. Alan R Graham, PhD, who is the Dean of the ADHD Coach Training Program for MentorCoach, USA. This pathway will lead me to be formally credentialed. A component of my requirement is to log paid ADHD specific coaching hours and to demonstrate my coaching ability to the board and my mentors.
I also have lived experience of having a daughter and husband with ADHD. Also as ADHD is highly genetic I have many family members (and friends) that also have ADHD.
The majority of my clients either have a family member with ADHD and/or have ADHD themselves.
What if I am not happy with the coaching experience?
Coaching is a collaborative process, if you feel you are not getting value from the experience then your are welcome to cancel. If you have paid for a program a refund can be organised for the unused portion.
Who do you work with?
I am happy to work with anyone, women, men, couples and teens. My current clients range in age from 13-53.
Some of the primary goals my clients are working on are organization, self-worth, weight loss, parenting, routine, managing ADHD symptoms and time management.
As an ADHD coach, I mainly work with people that have ADHD themselves but I can also work with other family members supporting them in understanding, education and strategies.
Do you work with children?
Yes. One of my currently clients is a 13 year old boy with ADHD.
However, as coaching is goal oriented, I have found for children it is better to work in conjunction with the parent.
Teens however can find coaching very empowering. Teens are going through the process of individualisation and therefore usually highly value the need to be autonomous. Coaching can be a powerful way for them to have the want for independence met while still getting the support and guidance they often need.
I also have lived experience of having 2 children, 12 & 14. My 12 year old has ADHD

"Adapting to Positive Parenting has been life changing for my family. It has been especially helpful for dealing with my youngest child that has ADHD. It has been amazing how a few changes made such a different to calmness and happiness of our whole family."
Hi, my name is Rachel, ADHD Coach & Parent Coach and creator of the visual routine system Mission Magnets.
I created my very first set of routine magnets as a way to stop MY morning routine of nagging and yelling at my children. It was also after my youngest daughter's ADHD diagnosis when another world was opened to me and I finally realized why despite all my efforts parenting had seemed so challenging.
This led me on journey of researching child behavior, psychology and brain development with a special interest in ADHD and Emotional Regulation.
With a passion for learning and a desire to help other parents not to feel like they were failing. I went on to became a Positive Discipline Parent Educator with an additional accreditation in ‘Keeping the Joy in Relationships”.
Then continued my training to become a Life Coach. I have completed ICF (International Coaching Federation) approved training and submissions to the board and are waiting on the review process to obtain my ACC credential.
Recognising that the people I mainly support are impacted by ADHD and with my existing knowledge base and experience regarding ADHD. I decided to specialise in this area and became an ADHD Coach. I am currenting training with Dr. Alan R Graham, PhD at Mentor Coach, USA on a pathway to be certified by the PAAC (Professional Association of ADHD Coaches).
I developed the Mission Connect membership to support parents of young children to strengthen their family connection using positive parenting strategies incorporating visual routines. Allowing them to have a calm, happy home while raising independent, capable and resilient children..
